Carl Tricoli is a Founder and Managing Partner of Denham Capital Management LP. Founded in 2004, Denham Capital is a global energy and resources private equity firm that has raised eleven institutional funds totaling $9bn in committed capital with offices in Houston, Boston, London, Toronto and Perth.  The firm implements an investment philosophy that promotes responsible environmental stewardship and socially responsible development of energy and natural resources. He oversees the global investment activities related to the mining of metals critical to the supply chain of the energy transition to renewable energy including wind and solar power, batteries and electric vehicles. In addition, Carl is a member of the firm’s investment committee that has overall responsibility for the firm’s investing activities.

Prior to forming Denham, Carl served as President of GeosCapital, a resource focused investment firm he co-founded. Other prior activities included the development of power generation facilities in North and South America and 16 years in finance and investment banking, including six years residing in London. Carl also founded Bella Mare Real Estate Holdings, a residential development company currently focused in the Heritage Dunes community in Seagrove Beach.

Carl has been married to Tamara Tricoli for 33 years, and began visiting South Walton shortly thereafter, spending many summers in Seaside. They have three children and three grandchildren whom Carl and Tamara love having down to their home in Seagrove Beach. Carl first experienced a walkable, urban environment living in Notting Hill in London where walking to shops, parks and restaurants was a daily part of life, and is excited about the contributions New Urbanism is making to this area of community development. Carl and Tamara also share a passion for education and served on the Advisory Board of YES Prep Charter Schools.

Carl currently serves on the boards of Tremont Master Holdings, Mining Ventures Brasil and Santiago Metals. Carl received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from the City Business School, The University of London.
