2020 Transportation Summit and Expo
Transportation Solutions Concepts presented by Walton County
The Seaside Institute sponsored and hosted the 2020 Transportation Summit and Expo. The event included a one day “Summit” meeting to discuss and review the transportation solutions concepts presented by Walton County. The Summit was followed by a two day Expo, hosting vendors, cars and an autonomous vehicle that attendees could ride.
By The Numbers:
Three Days - Two Events - Thirteen Concepts - Five Speakers
48 Cars - One Autonomous Vehicle - Seven Vendors - 450 Riders - One Goal
80 people including experts, county staff and community members, registered and attended the summit/workshop.
A summary and paper will be submitted to Walton County as part of their mobility plan presented to the Board of County Commissioners.
