Maurice Carlos Ruffin, a skilled wordsmith and a rising star in the literary world.  Prior to the highly anticipated release of We Cast a Shadow late this January, Mr. Ruffin has published work in literary periodicals including Virginia Quarterly Review, The Kenyon Review, and The Massachusetts Review, and also in Rebecca Solnit's Unfathomable City: A New Orleans Atlas.  An MFA graduate of UNO's Creative Writing program, Mr. Ruffin is a Southern writer to watch, and we look forward to his book signing this Spring.
